Amy Spinks is a Script Editor based in North London. She has a story-centric approach whilst focusing on the importance of character and world building.

Amy specialises in developing projects with comedic tones, unique POV's and strong female leads. She enjoys working with writers, forging that working relationship to enhance the creative process of writing a script or series. Amy is drawn to working on comedy projects alongside her experience in drama.

Amy worked as script editor on reshoots of KAOS for Netflix, created by Charlie Covell. She was script coordinator on The Power for Amazon Prime, created by Naomi Alderman and showrunner Raelle Tucker.

Amy has worked as a script reader for companies and competitions including: South of the River, Sister, Funny Women Awards, Bafta Rocliffe

Are you looking for feedback on your script or treatment? - I offer detailed feedback on scripts with a focus on structure, story, characters and tone. For comedy scripts notes will also include feedback on gags, dialogue and visual. When looking over your treatment we'll discuss the projects packaging, visuals, tone, content and who it's being sent to. My feedback will be constructive, realistic and always supportive. Script Development

Are you looking for Script development? - I love helping writers hone their craft and voice. Maybe you have the start of an idea for a script on your notes app and want guidance on how to start? Perhaps you've written half the episode and have hit a wall? *I GET IT. Seriously I've been there myself. - I will work with you as a script editor and advise on a further draft to ensure your script is ready to be shared with producers, production companies and/or agents.
